The Lucas family got its start in Funeral Service in the 1860's by, Thomas M. Lucas. Thomas Lucas opened a general store in Grapevine, Texas selling groceries and coffins.

Over the years, the funeral home has moved and expanded as the city has grown. Now, becoming the funeral home of choice for families of Grapevine and nearby cities.
