MANSFIELD -- Billy Joe Williams passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at Central Baptist Church, 403 Broad St., Mansfield. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Bill was born Sept. 28, 1932, in Lone Oak, the son of Robert Luther Williams and Myrtle Watkins Williams. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jo Ann Williams. Survivors: Wife, Doris Williams; children, Billy David Williams, Mark Wayne Williams and Bobbie Carol Gomez; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
